Cra-yon

Cra-yon launched in 2020, founded by French-Swedish fragrance creators Christine and Niclas Lydeen. Before creating the brand, the Lydeens launched the luxury fragrance house Agonist during the 2000s; Cra-yon marked a change of direction from that earlier work. Its approach treats fragrance as personal expression and wellbeing, offering an inclusive wardrobe for different feelings, moods, and real-life moments while moving away from niche perfumery’s elitist positioning, extravagant packaging, and rigid identity conventions. Christine Lydeen studied at Studio Bercot in Paris and previously worked with trend agency Li Edelkoort and fashion house Vivienne Westwood. Niclas Lydeen holds an MFA in design and has worked as a creative director for brands and design agencies. Sand Service is a documented bestseller associated with summer.
