Curatrix
Curatrix presents itself as the shared persona of two sisters who share their lives and stories through fragrance, combining one sister’s love of art with the other’s love of history. Its identity treats fragrance as a form of art and storytelling, drawing on art, culture, history, nature, and cinematic or bygone-era narratives. The brand’s fragrances are unisex and intended as vehicles for individuality and personal expression beyond traditional gender labels. Curatrix’s principal documented collection, Film Noir, is structured in three parts: Act I, Act II, and Act III. In Act II, Flashback establishes the lovers’ past, Heist represents their plan to recover lost love, power, and money, and Private Eye follows their escape, giving Heist the act’s central plot role.
