Cyrus

Cyrus is a French men’s fragrance brand owned by Société Parisienne de Parfums et Cosmétiques, or SPPC, a Paris company established in 1989. Its name refers to Cyrus the Great, described as an ancient conqueror and precursor of human rights, while its identity is framed around boldness, power, presence, charisma and masculine appeal. SPPC’s milestones date Aviator to 2012 and Writer to 2017, and identify Writer as a creation that has become a legend. In 2021, SPPC introduced a new brand architecture designating Cyrus for men’s fragrances and Sistelle for women’s fragrances, alongside a broader corporate visual-identity reset.
