Fragrance house
Dame Perfumery
Established in 2014 by perfumer Jeffrey Dame, Dame Perfumery is an independent American artisan fragrance house shaped by its founder’s taste, style, and creative vision. Dame brought earlier experience in luxury fashion, beauty, and fragrance creation, including work with Estée Lauder, Parfums Caron Paris, and American designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass, Geoffrey Beene, Vicky Tiel, Todd Oldham, and Marc Jacobs at Perry Ellis. The brand’s creative identity developed through collaboration with his father, V. Dave Dame, whose artwork provides context and storytelling for the Artist Collection. Black Flower Mexican Vanilla was the collection’s first fragrance and was created by Jeffrey and V. Dave Dame; it accompanied the brand’s launch. Across the Artist Collection, varying combinations of musk, vanilla, and sandalwood form a recurring olfactory identity. In 2018, Dame introduced a separate signature parfum collection under the JD Jeffrey Dame name, expanding the house beyond its original Dame Perfumery line.
