Dans un Jardin

Founded in Paris in spring 1976 by Countess Lucile de Baudry D’Asson, Dans un Jardin began with bath products inspired by flowers, fruits, and nature. The brand arrived in Quebec in 1983 with five boutiques and, during the 1990s, broadened its women-focused offer to products for the whole family, including the Pois de senteur line for mothers and babies. Pois de senteur is identified as a flagship line that achieved strong success and became embedded in Quebec culture. Réal Lafrance became the brand’s sole shareholder and owner in 2000. After financial difficulties and insolvency proceedings were announced in November 2018, Groupe Marie Claire announced a relaunch in 2019, with a concept centered on natural ingredients and the brand’s established fragrance heritage. Today, Dans un Jardin presents itself as a Quebec family business focused on whole-family products, naturally derived ingredients, and cruelty-free, environmentally conscious practices. Mûre sauvage is described as a classic fruity fragrance and flagship product returning with the relaunch.
