David Bisbal
David Bisbal is a Spanish recording artist whose public identity is centered on music performance and recorded songs. His debut album, Corazón Latino, was released in 2002 and topped the Spanish charts, and he won the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist the following year. In 2004, Bulería expanded his stylistic range toward flamenco; Premonición followed in 2006 with a more rock-inclined sound. His continuing career has included performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Carnegie Hall, Madrid’s Teatro Real, and Paris’s Olympia. Bisbal’s fragrance work began in 2006, when Idesa Parfums signed an international licensing agreement with him. That year brought Pura Esencia, his first fragrance, released in paired masculine and feminine eau de toilette versions. In 2008, the line expanded with DB Black for Men and DB Rose for Women, fragrances described as reflecting a more rebellious and intense artistic side.
