David Jourquin
David Jourquin is an eponymous niche fragrance line launched in 2011 with Cuir Mandarine and Cuir Tabac as its first two fragrances. Its perfumes are shaped by David Jourquin’s personal sensory memories, drawing on seasons, materials, travel, and lived experience. Leather provides the line’s central olfactory and visual identity: the fragrances emphasize leather accords, and the bottles are presented in leather coverings. Jourquin is the founder and principal creative figure, and is credited as a perfumer alongside Cécile Zarokian. After a six-year interval following Cuir Vénitien, the brand presented Cuir d’Eden at Esxence in Milan in 2022; created by Jourquin, it offers a recent expression of the line’s leather-centered direction. David Jourquin’s public identity remains focused on personal, emotionally driven fragrance creation and leather-clad presentation.
