Davines

Davines began in Parma, Italy, on March 14, 1983, when Gianni and Silvana Bollati founded a company focused on professional personal-care and hair-care products. It first operated as a research and contract-manufacturing laboratory for other cosmetics companies, then created its own professional hair-care brand in 1992; the name Davines came from the Bollati children, Davide and Stefania. The group broadened its scope with the creation of the comfort zone skincare division in 1996. Davines became a certified B Corporation in 2016 and an Italian Benefit Corporation on September 19, 2019, changing its bylaws to pursue common-benefit objectives alongside business goals. In 2021, it founded the European Regenerative Organic Center in Parma with the Rodale Institute to support research into regenerative organic agriculture, biodiversity, and ingredient supply chains. Within its portfolio, the OI family is a fragrance-led collection associated with a rich, persistent scent.
