Dedé Arte Profumata

Based in Liguria, Dedé Arte Profumata was founded in 2020 by Denise Meles as an artistic-perfumery brand. Meles develops the formulas and oversees the packaging, drawings, writing, and other creative details, composing fragrances in a small studio in a village overlooking the sea. The project began informally and became a regulated business after interest from perfume collectors, niche enthusiasts, and retail points led Meles to open a VAT position. Its imaginative, fairy-tale-like identity is closely connected to nature and to the emotional effects of smell. The brand presents itself as a small artisanal project, developing its formulas with Biolife, a cosmetics laboratory in Novi Ligure, while also collaborating with artisans and artists, participating in cultural events about beauty and fragrance raw materials, and offering personalized-perfume consultancy. Its Poemi Odorosi al Paese delle Belle Arti collection translates lived sensations and Italian atmospheres into scent, with watercolor packaging artwork by Alexandra Efremova. Within the collection, Belle Arti is presented as a modern luminous chypre evoking a dreamlike vision of Italy.
