Derek Lam 10 Crosby

Derek Lam 10 Crosby traces its origins to Derek Lam, the New York brand founded in 2003 by Derek Lam and Jan-Hendrik Schlottmann. Launched in 2011 as the brand’s advanced contemporary line, 10 Crosby took its name from the company’s former headquarters at 10 Crosby Street in SoHo. Its design identity combines modern sensibility and calculated simplicity with thoughtful detailing and a contemporary interpretation of American sportswear. In July 2019, Lam and Schlottmann closed the higher-end Derek Lam collection business and consolidated their efforts around 10 Crosby. Public Clothing Company acquired the Derek Lam business in January 2020, while Lam continued as chief creative officer and focused on 10 Crosby; on April 30, 2026, NYC Alliance acquired Derek Lam 10 Crosby from Public Clothing Company. The fragrance collection launched in 2015 with ten scents inspired by the downtown Manhattan location of Lam’s original flagship store, accompanied by ten short films tied to different New York moments.
