Diana de Silva

Diana de Silva Cosmétiques was established in Milan in 1975 under Roberto De Silva, husband of Diana Bracco. It developed as an Italian cosmetics and perfumery business, with its own brands including Hanorah and Breeze and fragrance licenses associated with fashion names such as Gianfranco Ferrè, Chiara Boni, Byblos, Pancaldi, Ettore Bugatti, and Raffaella Curiel. The company belonged to the Bracco Group before a business-branch divestment in 2005. At the end of March that year, production and distribution of brands associated with Diana de Silva—including Chiara Boni, Montana, Hanorah, and Breeze—were transferred to Cosmoprod Srl; from 1 July, Selective Beauty obtained a 25-year worldwide license covering Breeze, Hanorah, Montana, Jean Couturier, and Mauboussin. Earlier, in 2003, the business was developing licensed fragrance brands in Asia-Pacific, including Mauboussin, Byblos, Chiara Boni, and Hanorah.
