Discothèque

Discothèque was launched in 2022 by Jessie Willner, Hanover Booth, and Whitney Moulton. Its concept took shape during the pandemic, when the founders created dance floors at home with music, candlelight, and scent, aiming to bring the disco experience into the home. The founders are from Los Angeles and work between Los Angeles and London, where the brand carries out its design, formulation, and craft work. Discothèque began with candles associated with legendary clubs before expanding into wearable eau de parfum and handbag-sized fragrance formats. Its creative identity draws on disco, nightlife, and club culture, using cities, eras, legendary clubs, and imagined nights as frameworks for scent. Co-founder and creative director Jessie Willner designs the labels, packaging, artwork, bottles, and other visual details. In October 2025, the brand launched a seven-scent eau de parfum collection at Selfridges; by December, that line was described as the heart of the business. In 2023, the founders named Crisco Disco among Discothèque’s best-selling fragrances.
