Disney Princess
Disney Princess was created in 2000, when Disney Consumer Products brought eight princess characters together under a single marketing umbrella. Managed through Disney Consumer Products within The Walt Disney Company, the franchise united Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White across products, entertainment and interactive experiences, with imagination, storytelling, transformation and fantasy as central themes. Its roster expanded over time to include Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana and Raya, and the current official site lists these characters alongside the original princesses. In 2026, Disney described the brand’s creative direction as evolving with each generation while remaining rooted in stories of courage, compassion and possibility, alongside new short-form entertainment and consumer products. In fragrance, a 2025 Bath & Body Works collaboration introduced six character-inspired scents for Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Moana and Tiana; the 2026 continuation added fragrances for Aurora, Mulan, Rapunzel and Snow White, the cross-character scent Life’s a Fairytale, and returning Belle and Tiana scents.
