Dofta

Dofta is a Swedish niche fragrance brand founded by Anna Bodmar Riller, whose perfume journey began beside Sweden’s Kattegat coast, continued through world travel, and led to the creation of perfumes and candles after she returned to the Swedish countryside. The name DOFTA, Swedish for “beautifully fragranced,” reflects Riller’s life and travels. Dofta AB, the legal company, was formed on 15 October 2004, registered on 25 November 2004, and is based in Halmstad, where its registered business includes perfume and toilet-preparation manufacture. Riller is the developer of Dofta’s fragrances and its creative director. By April 2018, the publicly described range included perfumes, reed diffusers, candles, soaps, body lotions, and purifying lamps. Lime Basil & Mandarin was one of Dofta’s first fragrances and had become the brand’s signature fragrance and a modern classic by 2017.
