Dolce

Dolce is the fragrance collection of the Milanese fashion house Dolce&Gabbana, founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The house introduced a women’s fragrance in 1992, extending its fashion identity into beauty. Its public creative language draws on Sicilian references and contrasts including masculine and feminine, tradition and modernity, and romance and sexuality, with the founders serving as its central creative source. In 2016, Shiseido entered an exclusive global license agreement with Dolce&Gabbana covering the development, production, and sale of fragrances and cosmetics. The parties agreed in 2021 to partially terminate that arrangement at the end of the year, after which Dolce&Gabbana pursued worldwide production and distribution arrangements. Since January 1, 2023, the group has directly created, produced, and distributed beauty products under its own brand. The Dolce Collection is the fragrance family associated with the name, including Dolce Eau de Parfum, whose signature flower is neroli, as well as Dolce Blue Jasmine and Dolce Violet.
