Donna Pavarotti
Donna Pavarotti is the name commonly attached to Pavarotti Donna, a women’s fragrance released within Luciano Pavarotti’s celebrity fragrance line rather than a separately documented fragrance house. The line drew its public identity from Luciano Pavarotti, the Italian tenor who brought bel canto and opera to broad audiences through television, open-air concerts, stadiums, and arenas. A major milestone came in 1990, when his Three Tenors performance and rendition of “Nessun Dorma” became associated with FIFA World Cup broadcasts. The fragrance line began with Luciano Pavarotti in 1994, followed by Pavarotti Donna in 1995 and Luciano in 1999; it is listed as discontinued. The line is attributed to Pavarotti and lists Eurocosmesi as its parent company. David Apel is credited as perfumer, while Pierre Dinand designed the Pavarotti Donna bottle. Pavarotti Donna is documented as a floral-fruity chypre for women.
