Dorall

Dorall is a fragrance range associated with Arion Perfume & Beauty, a company headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, since 2002. Positioned in the alternative and value-fragrance segment, the collection offers scents inspired by designer fragrances, with packaging and fragrance-strength updates recorded alongside the introduction of new products over time. In 2009, Dorall fragrances produced by Bellure and marketed in the United Kingdom by Starion International became part of a Court of Justice of the European Union case concerning comparison lists and packaging for imitation fragrances. The court held that trademark owners could prevent comparison advertising presenting a third-party fragrance as an imitation and treated the related advantage as unfair use of the trademark’s reputation. One documented example is Coffret d’Or, identified in the case as a Dorall fragrance imitating L’Oréal’s Trésor. Scion International’s current corporate website lists Dorall Collection among its perfume and deodorant brands.
