Dr. Taffi

Dr. Taffi’s bionatural research laboratories and family business were established in 1987 by Enio Taffi, a biologist with a background in herbalism. The enterprise began in a small laboratory in a Tuscan farmhouse, where Enio formulated natural preparations while his wife, Maria, sold the early products to guests at a nearby tourist property. Their daughters, Maria Silvia and Elisabetta, later joined the family business in product-development and commercial roles. Rooted in Tuscan nature, herbal research, and natural cosmetics, Dr. Taffi’s stated approach also rejects animal testing and several synthetic and petroleum-derived ingredients. In 2008, Dr. Taffi Srl launched Acqua di Bolgheri in Italy and internationally. The line extended the family’s herbal tradition into perfumes and home essences, using Bolgheri and the Tuscan landscape as its conceptual setting. Acqua di Bolgheri is the clearest fragrance collection associated with Dr. Taffi and is identified in the brand’s history as its strongest corporate identity and flagship.
