Dr Teal's
Dr Teal’s traces its trademarked first use and first use in commerce to April 12, 2004, when Advanced Beauty Systems, Inc. was the original registrant. In February 2014, Parfums de Coeur acquired Dr. Teal’s Therapeutic Solutions from Advanced Beauty, at a time when the business spanned specialty bath, foot care, and first-aid products, with Epsom salt at the center of its bath-and-body offering. In March 2015, Parfums de Coeur became PDC Brands as the company broadened beyond fragrance into beauty and wellness. In 2017, CVC Capital Partners announced an agreement to acquire PDC Brands from Yellow Wood Partners. Today, Dr Teal’s presents accessible everyday wellness rituals built around magnesium, minerals, botanicals, and essential oils, from warm soaks to mindful showers. The brand is especially associated with Epsom salt soaking solutions rather than standalone fine fragrance, notably Soothe & Sleep with Lavender, a pure Epsom salt soak using lavender essential oil. In August 2026, the parent company adopted the corporate identity Arthēa, while consumer-facing brands including Dr Teal’s remained unchanged.
