Dr. Vranjes
Dr. Paolo Vranjes and his wife, Anna Maria, founded L’Antica Officina del Farmacista in Florence in 1983, initially combining personal care with thermal treatments. Between 2000 and 2008, the company moved into olfactory design, introducing home-fragrance formats and formally adopting the name Dr. Vranjes Firenze. Florence remains central to its identity: its fragrances and diffusers draw inspiration from the city’s Duomo, including an octagonal bottle associated with Brunelleschi’s dome. Founder and master perfumer Paolo Vranjes shaped the brand’s fragrance work through his background in chemistry, pharmacy and cosmetology. Rosso Nobile, introduced in 1999 and inspired by Tuscan red wine, became the brand’s clearest internationally recognized fragrance example. In 2022, Dr. Vranjes Firenze entered Eau de Parfum, extending its olfactory work from interiors to personal fragrance. After joining L’OCCITANE Group in 2024, the brand was officially reborn as Vranjes Firenze.
