Edeniste

Edeniste was founded by Audrey Semeraro, who grew up near Grasse and drew on a family background in science and fragrance while spending four years developing perfumes intended to support emotional wellbeing. Edeniste Limited was incorporated in England on 15 June 2018 and adopted its current name on 10 June 2021. Publicly presented as a fragrance launch in 2022, Edeniste introduced a two-part concept pairing Eau de Parfum with mood-oriented Lifeboost® essences. Its identity combines fine perfumery with olfactory neuroscience: the fragrances use active molecules, while the Lifeboost® essences were described as tested through fMRI, EEG, biosensors and saliva testing. Development brought together Takasago’s research and development teams and perfumers, neuroscientist Gabriel Lepousez, and perfumers Aurélien Guichard and Jérôme di Marino, whom Edeniste identifies as creators of the Eau de Parfums and Lifeboost® essences. In June 2025, Oud Ghazal received the Fragrance Foundation UK Innovation Award, with recognition linked to saliva-biomarker testing and a stress-reduction claim.
