Élisire
Élisire was founded by Franck Salzwedel, whose path has connected France, Germany, Indonesia, Paris, New York, and southern France. Born in France to German parents and raised partly in Indonesia, Salzwedel studied at the French Fashion Institute in Paris before developing fragrances for Giorgio Armani and Viktor & Rolf. In 2007, he became a painter and fragrance creative consultant in New York, later relocating to southern France in spring 2020. As founder and creative director, he shaped Élisire around the idea that color, light, nature, and emotion can serve as parallel languages for composing perfume. The house presents high-concentration fragrances created in collaboration with perfumers including Pierre Negrin, Philippine Courtière, Alberto Morillas, Ilias Ermenidis, Clément Gavarry, and Bérénice Watteau. Desired, an extrait created by Courtière, translates gold into an opulent amber-woody-spicy fragrance.
