Elizabeth W

Elizabeth W is a San Francisco-based perfumery founded in 1995 by Albert Nichols and Michael Lindsay. Its name honors Nichols’s great-grandmother, Elizabeth Wightman, while the brand’s origins draw on memories of the scents and flavors associated with her Sierra Nevada ranch. Nichols’s background in architecture informed the venture’s beginnings, which later broadened from perfumery into bath, body, and home-scent products. The range is designed by Albert and made by artisans in small batches near San Francisco Bay, reflecting the brand’s emphasis on hand-created fragrances that combine traditional perfumery with a modern sensibility. Among its fragrances, Sweet Tea has been documented as one of the brand’s most popular products.
