Embryolisse
Embryolisse began in 1950 at Saint Louis Hospital in Paris, where a dermatologist formulated Lait-Crème Concentré. Its identity centers on short formulations designed to address essential skin needs, including hydration, nourishment, and protection. More than 30 years ago, the brand removed animal-derived embryonic extracts from its formulas and replaced them with plant-based proteins. Embryolisse is a French, family-owned independent company managed for nearly 30 years by Nazoura Cassam-Chenaï and pharmacist Alain Cassam-Chenaï. In 2010, it expanded from skincare into makeup with the Artist Secret range, co-developed with professional makeup artists. Lait-Crème Concentré remains its flagship product: a versatile six-in-one formula also used backstage as a moisturizer, primer, makeup remover, and complexion enhancer.
