Enzo Galardi

Enzo Galardi is an Italian perfumer and creative founder whose work has included artistic and niche-perfumery brands. His fragrance story reaches back to his grandfather Guido Galardi, who began experimenting with perfume formulas in a small Florence workshop in 1920 and gathered Florentine lavender for his creations. In 2005, Enzo Galardi continued that family tradition by launching Bois 1920, a line built around the use and reinterpretation of formulas associated with Guido. His creative approach combines inherited Florentine perfumery traditions with contemporary artistic direction. In 2012, Bois 1920 was selected among the five best olfactory expressions at the FiFi Awards in New York. Galardi is also associated with IO.KO 1954, a name formed from his pseudonym, IO.KO, and his birth year, 1954.
