Fragrance house
eos
eos, short for Evolution of Smooth, was founded in 2007 by Jonathan Teller and Sanjiv Mehra, with its first lip balm launching in the United States in 2009. The brand began within Teller’s consumer-products incubator, The Kind Group, and was built without outside investment. Its early creative proposition was to rethink lip balm as a sensory, visually distinctive beauty object: consumer research and sculptor-made clay models led to its characteristic spherical container. By 2015, eos was the second-highest-selling lip-balm brand in the United States. During its first decade, it expanded beyond lip balm into shaving cream and hand and body lotions, extending its focus on more sensory, designed personal-care routines. In 2025, eos entered the dedicated fragrance-mist category with its Cashmere Body Mist collection. Vanilla Cashmere is its clearest fragrance signature, described as an iconic eos fragrance and carried into the mist range alongside other established scents.
