escent

Escent is an artisan perfumery based in Woolgoolga on Australia’s New South Wales mid north coast. Launched in 2013, it began with body products made from essential-oil blends and home-fragrance products before making handcrafted botanical perfumes its main focus. Founder and owner Wendy developed her practice through massage training and subsequent study in aromatherapy, remedial massage, beauty therapy, flower remedies, essential-oil safety, skincare, bath products and perfumery. Escent’s in-house approach centers on blending essential oils and absolutes into botanical perfumes and other natural products made with botanical ingredients, herbal extracts, essential oils, absolutes and natural isolates. Perfume-making grew from Wendy’s earlier work formulating essential-oil blends for the brand’s bath and body products.
