eSENSielle

Founded by Heike Jeannette Hegmann, eSENSielle is a Hamburg-based fragrance creative studio, olfactory brand consultancy, and perfume brand. Hegmann began her career at International Flavors & Fragrances and later worked in fragrance creation and creative consulting for perfume and cosmetics companies. Her travels to regions associated with perfume plants informed a small-brand concept focused on capturing nature’s essence through contemporary perfume art. eSENSielle combines traditional perfume craftsmanship with modern perfume art and emphasizes high-quality natural materials. Its creative philosophy is summarized by “connect to your senses,” linking fragrance essence, the senses, and what is essential in life. In the Woods, released in 2014, began a perfume series centered on nature, its beauty, diversity, originality, and significance to people. The fragrance is presented as eSENSielle’s manufactory perfume and was composed by perfumer Clément Salva.
