Fragrance house
Ésika
Ésika was launched by Belcorp in September 2003 as a cosmetics, fragrance, and personal-care brand created to address women’s beauty needs across home, work, and social life. It originated within Belcorp, the beauty company created by Eduardo Belmont after he and his brother Fernando separated their jointly run Yanbal business in 1988. At launch, Ésika drew on vitality, color, and fashion inspiration associated with New York trends. In 2019, Belcorp introduced a new brand image and positioning intended to connect with younger generations, including a new logo and photography style developed with an international agency. Currently, Ésika is one of Belcorp’s three brands, alongside L’BEL and Cyzone, and its identity centers on confidence and the individual beauty of women. In fragrance, Expression is described as an iconic floral fragrance, while Bela is identified as one of Ésika’s most valuable women’s perfumes; its creation was shaped by perfumer Carlos Viñals and adviser Ann Gottlieb.
