Eurocosmesi

Eurocosmesi was established in 1988 as a division of Guaber, created to produce and sell perfumes associated with major Italian fashion and art names. It developed from Guaber, the Italian personal-care company founded in 1961 by Paolo Gualandi and Athos Bergamaschi. In 1995, Eurocosmesi launched the Swiss Transvital brand, and in December 2007 it acquired Gandini, a historic perfumer from Alessandria whose fragrances included Muschio Bianco and Pepe Nero. A 2006 separation of Guaber’s personal-care and household activities placed the personal-care brands retained by the Gualandi family within Coswell; around 2010–2011, Eurocosmesi became Coswell’s perfume division. Its current work spans the development, production, and distribution of fine fragrances and skin care for owned and licensed brands. Its creative approach centers on olfactory design developed with international perfumers and fragrances intended to express Made in Italy through sensory storytelling. In the broader history of Italian perfumery, Eurocosmesi belongs to the group of companies that emerged alongside fashion-fragrance collaborations, a model connecting a fashion house’s style with its perfume.
