Everlast

Everlast began in 1910 in the Bronx as a swimwear manufacturer founded by 17-year-old Jacob Golomb. In 1917, boxer Jack Dempsey asked Golomb to make protective headgear durable enough for more than 15 rounds of training, taking the company into boxing equipment; two years later, Dempsey won the world heavyweight championship wearing Golomb’s gloves, and Everlast became identified with boxing equipment. Its business also grew through worldwide trademark licensing for apparel, footwear, and other accessories. Today, Everlast is a fight-sports and fitness brand focused on boxing, mixed martial arts, and fitness products, with stated values of strength, dedication, individuality, and authenticity. Its first documented fragrance was Original 1910, an eau de toilette reported in 2005 as blended by Givaudan perfumer Antoine Lie and named for the year of the brand’s founding.
