Evody

Evody is a French niche fragrance house founded in Paris by mother-and-daughter partners Régine Droin and Cérine Vasseur. In 2006, they opened a Paris boutique devoted to niche fragrances. After perfumer Aglaé Nicolas proposed a collaboration, the founders chose to develop Evody’s own fragrances, launching the perfume line by the end of 2008. The name comes from the Evodia tree, which the founders describe as the tree of a hundred thousand flowers, and they also associate it etymologically with perfume. Evody’s creative identity is shaped by memory and emotion: Collection Première interprets autobiographical moments from the founders’ lives, while Collection d’Ailleurs draws on distant places and cultures. Launched in 2014, Collection d’Ailleurs included Noir d’Orient and Ombre Fumée. As of 2026, Evody presents itself as a French niche fragrance house and announced participation at Esxence.
