Exaltatum
Exaltatum is a fragrance brand established in London in 2016 by Eglija Vaitkevice, who is identified as its founder and perfumer. Vaitkevice had been developing Exaltatum since 2009, drawing on a background in aromatherapy and natural perfumery, and studied at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery under Max Gavarry. The brand’s creative identity brings together timeless values, beauty and history with references to cultural and artistic works, myths, nature and personal stories. Its perfumes are intended to evoke customers’ memories, beliefs and individual stories, allowing room for personal interpretation rather than prescribing a single meaning. Osmanthus Noble, released in 2018, was Exaltatum’s first perfume and is explicitly tied to the Rubens painting Samson and Delilah.
