Experimental Perfume Club

Experimental Perfume Club was founded in 2016 by French perfumer Emmanuelle Moeglin, who trained at ISIPCA and had international fragrance-design experience. It began in London Fields as an open-access perfume laboratory and workshop intended to make fragrance creation and olfactory education more accessible; after a successful crowdfunding campaign in August 2017, the business began operating. The company developed from an educational platform into a fragrance brand offering personalised experiences while retaining an accessible, creative and participatory approach to perfumery. Its fragrances are designed to be worn alone or blended, enabling customers to create personalised combinations. The first collection, Layers, launched within the company’s first two years, followed by Layers 02, announced for May 2019. In April 2021, the brand opened its first lab-boutique and flagship at 53 Monmouth Street in Seven Dials, London, combining fragrance education, consultation and its in-house scent collection. Moeglin remains the brand’s founder and perfumer.
