Fanola
Fanola was founded in 2005 in San Martino di Lupari, in Italy’s Padua province, as an Italian professional hair-colour brand developed through collaboration among hairdressers, researchers, technicians, hair experts and other creative contributors, with support from Pettenon Cosmetics. Its identity centers on color, creativity and sharing, presenting hair care as a form of personal expression for professionals and their clients. The brand introduced its first complete professional treatment line in 2005 and its first professional ammonia-based hair color in 2006. In 2016, No Yellow Shampoo went viral and became associated with removing yellow reflections from blond hair, helping make Fanola known worldwide. Fanola is owned by Pettenon Cosmetics S.p.A. SB, whose history reaches back to Morgana, founded by Mario Pettenon in 1946; after his death in 1988, Arturo Pegorin and his sons Gianni and Federico took over and founded Pettenon Cosmetics. Pettenon became an Italian Benefit Corporation in 2021.
