FarmaVita

Established in Milan in 1973, FarmaVita developed around professional hair cosmetics and is now based in Locate Varesino near the city. In 1990, ownership changed to the Spurio family, which redirected the company toward the professional market and made professional hair color its core business. FarmaVita’s portfolio includes hair-coloring creams, care, and styling products, offered through its own brands as well as private-label manufacturing. By 2022, the company was represented at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas in the Italian Trade Agency’s Beauty Made in Italy catalogue, with professional coloring, care, and styling listed among its core activities. Its Amethyste collection brings refined fragrances into the professional haircare experience, where scent supports the product ritual rather than functioning as a standalone perfume identity.
