Federico Cantelli

Federico Cantelli is an Italian eponymous fragrance house created by perfumer Federico Cantelli, who grew up around his grandparents’ perfume shop in central Bologna and began training at 15 or 16. His preparation included summer apprenticeships at Italian essence companies and culminated in a University of Florence diploma in 2020. Before establishing his own line, he created Aria di Trieste for the Il Tulipano group in 2019, followed by a second Trieste-dedicated fragrance centered on vanilla and coffee in 2020. He created the Federico Cantelli line in 2021 as an independent brand built around his work as a perfumer. Its fragrances are prepared artisanally through composition, maceration, hand filtration, and bottling, with Cantelli personally handling each stage of creation. The house has a gourmand olfactory identity, balancing sweet notes with freshness. In 2025, it extended its eau de parfum line with a gourmand extrait de parfum collection distinguished by higher essential-oil concentration, and by February 2026 added body creams inspired by that collection. Fico was the first fragrance Cantelli created and was later revised for his own line.
