Fenjal

Fenjal was introduced in Switzerland in 1962 by Doetsch Grether AG, beginning with fenjal Cremebad, a product that combined bathing and skin creaming. Its original positioning drew on Swiss spa treatments, with plant oils and self-care rituals forming continuing themes. International distribution began in 1963, and Fenjal reached British bathrooms by 1967. Fit GmbH acquired the body-care brand from Doetsch Grether on 1 June 2016. In January 2020, Fenjal presented a relaunch under Fit GmbH centered on personal calm, balance and wellbeing while retaining a connection to its origins. The brand marked its 60th anniversary in 2022. Fenjal is especially fragrance-led, with scent strongly shaping its identity. Its defining example is CLASSIC, a chypre-floral fragrance offered across coordinated fragrance-care formats, with a scent profile built around citrus, patchouli, cedarwood, rose, jasmine and vanilla.
