FiveStar

Founded in 1997 by Jeffrey Dame, FiveStar operated as a fragrance company associated with Perfumania Holdings, owning or licensing designer and other fragrance brands. On August 11, 2008, Perfumania acquired Model Reorg, Inc., bringing the businesses operating through Quality King Fragrance, Scents of Worth, and Five Star Fragrance Company under its umbrella. During Perfumania’s Chapter 11 proceedings in 2017, Five Star Fragrance Company was expressly excluded from the bankruptcy filings. The reorganization became effective on October 11, 2017, when MJA Beauty LLC received all outstanding shares of reorganized Perfumania Holdings. FiveStar is currently listed as owned by Quality King.
