Fleur De Point

Fleur De Point was created in 2017 by Marie Clapisson, a French creative entrepreneur, from an idea of translating her own stories and poetry into fragrances. Conceived initially as an artistic project rather than a business, the brand combined words, smells, images, music, and graphic design in a multisensory experience; Clapisson taught herself the basics of perfume-making as she developed it. Its first three fragrances launched through the brand’s online store on 11 November 2018. Licorne Maudite illustrates the concept: Clapisson’s written image of a rainbow unicorn inspired the fragrance’s olfactory interpretation. Clapisson was also the nose behind Fleur De Point’s fragrances. The brand’s documented public commercial life had ended by January 2019, when it was described as discontinued.
