Fo'ah

FO’AH Perfumes with a Soul was legally created in Paris on 4 March 2016 by Émilie Dewell and Abdulla Al-Masaood. The house was conceived as a meeting point between Dewell’s French and Grasse background and Al-Masaood’s Abu Dhabi heritage, with the stated aim of bringing French and Middle Eastern perfume cultures together. FO’AH presents its identity as an olfactory bridge between Parisian elegance and the Orient, balancing modernity with tradition. After Al-Masaood’s death, Dewell said she had the opportunity to become FO’AH’s sole owner and intended to continue their shared project. The brand dedicates fragrances to emblematic gardens of Eastern and Western culture. Its Mémoires d’une Palmeraie collection comprises five fragrances launched in 2018, created with perfumers Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard. The collection uses a palm-tree accord as a recurring signature, built around a flowering palm-tree note described as created exclusively for FO’AH and previously unused in another fragrance.
