Fortune Fragrance is a brand of La Belle Afrique (Pty) Ltd, a privately held company founded in 2013 in Avondale, Cape Town, South Africa. La Belle Afrique was founded by brothers Isaac Havilah, Moses Munzwembiri, and Edson Havilah; after two co-founders departed, Isaac Havilah and his wife, Fadzai B. Q. Mukono-Havilah, established a unified direction for the company. Fortune presents an African-oriented identity that links fragrance with an entrepreneurial network operating through direct selling. Its distinctive reward concept places a sealed Fortune Ticket in each bottle. The fragrance offering is organized into six named tiers: L’Éveil, L’Attrait, L’Emprise, L’Obsession, L’Extase, and L’Absolu.
