Fragrance Du Bois

Fragrance Du Bois is a Paris-born fragrance house that emerged in 2013 from an idea by Jonnie Swarbrick and a creative founding team. Its visual approach and creative direction from inception were shaped by Swarbrick’s background in design, packaging, media, print, and brand identity. The house builds its olfactory language around oud as a recurring starting material, pairing it with unexpected notes and modern French perfumery. In 2021, it described a creative model bringing classical and modern Arabian and French traditions together through perfumers working across France, Dubai, Iran, and Italy, rather than relying on one permanent house perfumer. A May 2014 collaboration with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and Amber Lounge connected fragrance sales with a tree-planting sustainability program; the initiative included Oud Amber Intense, created for Amber Lounge founder Sonia Irvine by Sandra Dziad. In the United States, the Fragrance Du Bois mark is registered to Fragrance Du Bois (UK) Limited, with registration dated 21 March 2017. The official site’s current best-seller section includes Sirène and Lucius.
