Frama

Founded in 2011 by Niels Strøyer Christophersen, Frama began after an invitation to exhibit at the Qubique design fair and then focused on its Permanent Collection. Based in Copenhagen, it is a multidisciplinary brand spanning furniture, lifestyle objects, self-care, and fragrances. Across these fields, its creative identity brings together natural materials, craftsmanship, and simple forms, with an emphasis on sensory relationships between objects and spatial works. Its development has been described as organic and collaborative, combining new technologies with analogue traditions while extending a unified aesthetic across design disciplines. Frama’s fragrance history includes the St. Pauls Apothecary Collection, launched in 2016 and inspired by St. Pauls Apotek, a Copenhagen pharmacy first established in 1878. St. Pauls is the brand’s signature fragrance and first scent. In 2022, Frama introduced Herbarium, a new scent profile honoring the original Apothecary Collection concept, in collaboration with Seoul-based creative studio Be My Guest.
