French Cowboy
French Cowboy is a Paris-based fragrance brand created in 2025 by Ashley Santiago and Adrien Ollat. Santiago is a co-founder and Givaudan perfumer, while Ollat, the other co-founder, previously worked in finance before moving into fragrance entrepreneurship. The brand combines French haute-parfumerie standards with a freer, American-inspired spirit and aims to make niche fragrance more direct and accessible. Its creative model involves co-creation with figures outside traditional perfumery, including artists, dancers, chefs, and other contemporary creators who help shape fragrance concepts. French Cowboy launched publicly in late 2025 as a digital, online-only fragrance house, making its first public debut at Paris Perfume Week. In early 2026, it joined the Niche Beauty Brands portfolio to support retail development. Pear Pavlova, co-created with contemporary dancer Allie Goodbun, became San Francisco retailer Ministry of Scent’s best-seller for several months after an initial retail test. Another early release, Mezcal Chocolat, was co-created with chef Mathis Molinié, linking the brand’s fragrance concepts to movement, gastronomy, and cultural collaboration.
