Fugazzi
Fugazzi was founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by Bram Niessink. The idea grew from a cultural trip to Egypt, where Niessink experimented with perfume oils; after receiving positive feedback on one blend, he decided to bring it to market. The brand’s creative concept, “storysmelling,” treats perfume as a way to evoke emotion and transport the wearer to a place, memory, or experience. Its identity brings playful and luxurious elements together with an edgy attitude, while the name refers to something elusive, mysterious, or incomprehensible. Parfum 1, introduced in 2018, was Fugazzi’s first fragrance. In January 2026, the brand launched Matchabuya, created by perfumer Julien Rasquinet and inspired by Shibuya and the ritual of matcha. Angel Dust is a defining Fugazzi fragrance; it became the brand’s global best-seller and has been described as a cult classic.
