FUMparFUM
FUMparFUM was founded in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2011 by Aistis Mickevičius, its founder and perfumer. The brand developed from Mickevičius’s gradual interest in perfumery, including botanical-perfumery studies in Vilnius, experiments with natural essences, seminars, lectures, and international perfume exhibitions. FUMparFUM approaches scent as an artistic and conceptual practice, combining historical European perfume-making traditions with original modern combinations. Alongside fragrances, it creates perfume sketches and scent installations for objects, galleries, and exhibitions. Its fragrances are connected to personal experiences, travel impressions, professional choices, and inner states, giving the brand an authorial character. In 2016, Mickevičius published Kvepalai (Perfumes), the first book about perfumery in Lithuanian. He has also outlined an international direction for FUMparFUM centered on artistic perfumery.
