Gainsboro

Gainsboro is a Swiss fragrance brand whose documented history begins with G-Man, launched in association with Juvena in 1971. Silverline followed in 1972, while Exception appeared in the 1980s. In 1982, Juvena Produits de Beauté S.A., a Swiss company, applied to register Gainsboro for cosmetics, perfumery and related goods. The brand’s documented identity is rooted in men’s perfumery and a restrained, traditional masculine style, with aftershave formats recorded alongside its scents. G-Man is Gainsboro’s clearest fragrance legacy: it is the earliest documented scent and is identified in fragrance references as the brand’s principal or flagship fragrance.
