Gallagher Fragrances

Gallagher Fragrances was formally established on June 6, 2016, after Daniel Gallagher’s dissatisfaction with widely shared designer fragrances led him to explore indie and niche perfumery and research perfume-making independently. Daniel Gallagher creates the brand’s compositions, and his work combines unusual pairings with an emphasis on experimentation and wearability. Amongst Waves, launched in 2017, exemplifies this approach with a melon-centered aquatic structure alongside patchouli and vanilla. Daniel and Mindy began developing a second fragrance concept in 2019, and Pearlescent Parfums formally launched in 2021 before merging under Gallagher Fragrances in 2023 as the Pearlescent Collection. The collection gives each release a different two-tone marble-like cap, making every bottle unique. Gallagher’s fragrance work also includes Behold, Patchouli, which received the Institute for Art and Olfaction’s 2022 Aftel Award for Handmade Perfume.
