Fragrance house
Gandini
Gandini is an Italian perfume house founded in 1896 through Alessandro Gandini, a pharmacist and alchemist. Its historical identity is tied to fragrances created by Alessandro Gandini during the first half of the twentieth century and to Italian perfumery tradition. The house revisits older ingredients and classical fragrance ideas in modern interpretations. Its documented fragrance history includes a 2009 relaunch of older formulas and the 2010 introduction of the mixable Gandini 1896 Maestri Profumieri cologne collection. In 2019, Gandini presented an eight-fragrance line described as an evolution of its techniques and olfactory bases for contemporary tastes. In 2023, it introduced Inside Art in collaboration with the J. Paul Getty Museum, a three-fragrance collection inspired by works associated with Van Gogh, Manet, and Monet. The GANDINI trademark is listed under the ownership of COSWELL S.p.A.
